Clayton Area Model Airplane Club formed in 2003. We are situated in Clayton, in the North East corner of New Mexico. We have currently got 6 flying members, and many non flying members. At this point in time we are working in becoming an AMA Club, and eventually a 501C3 organization. We have no membership fees at the moment.
Over the past year, our flying park has grown at a rapid rate. We have three shelters, and are putting up two more shelters in the coming weeks. We have a portable toilet, and we also have grass growing around the field, so there is little dust now. We have a long runway, and are considering expanding it, and putting another runway in the opposite direction.
We launched this website in October 2005 with the hope of getting some visitors at the park. Also, we plan to have some fly ins in 2006. |
